Science with Soul
The Only Hope Project began in 2020, when a group of villagers came together to fund potentially life-saving treatment for a child - who has tragically since passed away.
In true Calendar Girls style, our small village campaign has grown to take on global significance and attracted the attention of a Grammy-nominated music producer, a Hollywood stalwart, the biggest medical research publishers, scientists and clinicians.
The campaign began with a film, in which local cancer sufferers played themselves. Our aim was to raise money - but along the way we unearthed life-saving technology that could offer earlier diagnosis for many different conditions.
The Only Hope Project has expanded and developed during the last couple of years, during which we lost several more of the friends and family who played themselves in the original screenplay.
Our mission now, through world-wide collaboration, is to raise awareness of technological tools that will cross-reference a patient’s medical history with the latest medical and scientific research to provide earlier and more accurate diagnosis.
We are working on a documentary which will include the original fictional film. In the meantime check-out our Mission and help us cause a revolution so GP’s can make a real-life saving difference in the little time they have face-to-face with patients.
